Training Centre in Communication (TCC Africa) announced a collaboration with the consulting and fund management firm, ViKtoria Ventures in supporting early career researchers in their innovation cycle by providing access to their digital impact investment platform, making them investable and connecting them to impact-driven capital.
ViKtoria Ventures joins the Kenya Innovation Agency(KENIA) and TCC Africa, in building capacities in the investor readiness of participants of the Falling Walls Lab, a global platform that brings together a diverse and interdisciplinary pool of students, researchers, and early-career professionals by providing an opportunity for them to take part in a world-class pitch competition, networking forum.
“Working with TCC Africa will provide access to well-researched opportunities which have a potential to create value (commercial and social) to our angel investors and the ecosystem in general,” remarked Mr. Jason Musyoka of Viktoria Ventures.
“Early career researchers have an opportunity to start thinking of the potential of commercializing their innovations, and working with Viktoria Ventures will support researchers in investor awareness and readiness, which is crucial in achieving this goal,” said Joy Owango of TCC Africa.
