Walter Ojok: My Experience during TCC training on Research output dissemination Kampala Uganda held in October 2018.

My name is Walter Ojok and my research is centered in Physical Chemistry where I am involved in Natural Sciences-modelling sorption studies. The one week training organized by DAAD and TCC was very relevant in shaping my study so as to develop a complete proposal with clear and achievable objectives. The skills that I acquired through the training will enable me as well as other scholars develop fundable proposals, better my academic writing, gain better grasp of accessing e-resources which will catapult us into the level of world renowned scientists.

I especially liked the way TCC handled the training by easily packaging the courses as well as promptly attend to any one of us as trainees in case we had a inquiry. I would say the three major things that I have taken with me from the training are how to access e-resources, how to use problem tree to write a concept or proposal and how to write an academic paper for publication. From the skills I have acquired, I can’t wait to implement them in writing more articles for publication from my previous and current studies.

In a nutshell, I would wish to thank Training Centre in Communication –Africa (TCC) for equipping us with timely and well thought out skills which we are to implement in our fields. Not forgetting as well, DAAD who organized for us to have such a marvelous training.
