TCC Africa Supports NACADA Journal in Preparation for Indexing and Abstracting

The  Training Centre in Communication (TCC Africa ) is  currently supporting the National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (NACADA)’s   African  Journal of  Alcohol and  Drug Abuse (AJADA), in meeting the  Journal  Publishing and  Practicing  Standards (JPPS), so  that it may indexed  in  bibliographic and  citation  database services. The  capacity building, which, started in  November, involved  training the  journal  and leadership team on what is required of them to improve the  quality of  their journal.

 
AJADA is a 2 year old diamond open access ,peer reviewed multidisciplinary journal committed to high quality output  publications with an international audience  seeking reliable  information on alcohol and  drug abuse.

 

NACADA is a Kenyan Semi-Autonomous State Corporation under the Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government as per the Executive Order No. 1 of June 2018.

 

The JPPS was set up and managed by TCC Africa’s  partner  African Journals  Online (AJOL)  and  INASP.

 

TCC  Africa is the first African-based training centre to teach effective communication skills to scientists. TCC Africa is an  award winning  Trust, established as a non-profit entity in 2006 and is registered in Kenya.  TCC Africa provides  capacity support in improving researchers  output and visibility through training in  scholarly and science communication.
