TCC held its first course in her Nigerian satellite office at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife. The course was on Proposal Writing and Grant Management and Oral Communication Presentation and Networking. The course was facilitated   from 25-27 April 2012 and had 45 postgraduate participants from the West African Sub Saharan region.

Tonny Omwansa  one of  Training Centre in Communication  trainers has  published a book on  Kenya’s  mobile money success story  M-pesa. The   book entitled Money Real Quick: The Story of Mpesa is available on the Kindle Edition  on Amazon .

Mr Omwansa   who has been with the Training Centre in Communication since 2010, and  facilitates the unit on Proposal Writing and Grant Management ,which, is part of the course on Scientific Communication and Publishing.
