Using Artificial Intelligence to Enhance the Academic Lifecycle: TCC Africa and Jenni AI Host Successful Workshop on Research Productivity

The Training Centre in Communication (TCC Africa), in collaboration with Jenni AI and with support from the University of the Free State, successfully hosted a virtual workshop on “Enhancing Research Productivity with Artificial Intelligence” on 10 March 2026 at 7:00 PM EAT (4:00 PM GMT).

The session brought together members of the global academic and research community to explore how artificial intelligence tools can be responsibly integrated into the academic lifecycle to improve research productivity and efficiency.

The workshop attracted over 1,000 registrations, reflecting strong and growing interest among researchers, librarians, and academics in understanding how emerging technologies , particularly AI, can support scholarly work. Participants joined from diverse institutions and regions across the world.
