Mr. Janauarius Ondiek Agullo holds a BSc and MSc degrees in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Nairobi with speciality in Agricultural Processing and Structures Engineering. He is a Registered Graduate Engineer with Engineers Registration Board, Kenya.
Mr. Agullo’s main interests are in dissemination of knowledge, research, and lifelong learning. He has seven years teaching experience at the university level, during which, he has had the opportunity to teach at three major Kenyan universities including the University of Nairobi, Kenyatta University and Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. He has lectured courses on engineering sciences, postharvest technology, environmental control of structures, and computer programming including use of statistical software such as R.
He has research and consultancy experience has been in areas of systems modelling, data analysis, post-harvest technology and computer applications in engineering education, and design. He has published his research findings in journals and conference proceedings. He has also co-authored one book on rural structures.
Mr. Agullo is currently a PhD candidate and Tutorial Fellow at the University of Nairobi, School of Engineering, Department of Environmental and Biosystems Engineering. He is also a TCC trainer on the use of R statistical package for data analysis.
