Advancing Research Visibility Through Dimensions Across West Africa

30 September 2025 Categories: Communication, latest news, News

In the third quarter of 2025, Digital Science, in collaboration with the Training Centre in Communication (TCC Africa), continued strengthening research discovery and visibility across the African continent through national Dimensions workshops held in Ghana and Liberia. This quarter marked another important step in expanding the program’s impact across West Africa.

Across Q3, the initiative trained over 700 researchers, librarians, and academics from institutions in Ghana, Rwanda, Nigeria, Botswana, and Liberia, equipping participants with practical skills to enhance research visibility, support Open Access practices, and leverage data for institutional growth.

The workshops showcased the continued demand for robust, data-driven research tools across the Global South, reaffirming the initiative’s commitment to building inclusive and connected research ecosystems in Africa.
